The service

Glimpsee lets an organization put a large set of event photos online so that each guest can find the photos they appear in with a selfie.

The service is provided by Glimpsee. These terms apply to every workspace owner and, where they say so, to every guest.

Your workspace

A workspace has one owner. The owner is responsible for everything uploaded to it and for every event it publishes.

You must be entitled to upload the photos you bring in and to let the guests of that event find themselves in them.

You are responsible for telling guests, in your own privacy notice, why the photos were taken and how you use them.

Credits and payment

Every workspace starts with a free grant of credits. One credit is charged per photo indexed; duplicates and unreadable files cost nothing.

Credits are bought as packs, paid by bank transfer or cash to the Glimpsee team, and added to the workspace once payment is recorded. Credits do not expire and are not refunded.

Deleting a photo or an event does not refund the credits it used.

Handing us a drive

Before handing over a drive, keep your own copy of every photo on it.

Glimpsee is not responsible for loss of, or damage to, a drive or its contents while it is in transit or in our care.

We read the photos once to index them into this event; Glimpsee does not keep the original files, only the sizes it shows to guests.

We return the drive or, if you ask, wipe it.

Each indexed photo costs one credit; duplicates and photos we cannot read cost nothing.

We never use the photos for anything other than this event.

Acceptable use

Do not upload photos you have no right to publish, photos of people who have objected, or content that is unlawful where the event took place.

Do not use Glimpsee to identify people outside the event they attended. A guest can only search the event whose link they hold.

We may suspend a workspace that breaks these rules. A suspended owner can still sign in and read, but not upload or publish.

Retention and deletion

An event stays in your workspace until you delete it. Nothing expires on its own, and storage is yours to manage by deleting the events you no longer need.

You can delete an event at any time. Deletion removes every photo, face signature and guest link at once and cannot be undone. The credit ledger and anonymous counts are kept.

Glimpsee may delete an event from a suspended workspace after telling you, and records who did it and why.

Liability

The service is provided as it is. We do our best to keep it available, but we make no promise about when photos become searchable or that every face is found.

Glimpsee is not liable for indirect loss, and its total liability to a workspace is limited to the amount that workspace paid in the twelve months before the claim.

Changes and contact

We may change these terms. The date at the top says when. Continuing to use the workspace after a change means you accept it.
